Screening in the Lobby: India Street Mural Movies by NbPac

The North Brooklyn Public Art Coalition does amazing work with the community to add beauty to public places in Brooklyn. Their Kickoff project, the India Street Mural, has been a resounding success, and we’re lucky enough to be screening their films about the endeavor on the big screen in the lobby of Castle Braid. Stop by to pick up more of NbPac’s literature and to learn more about the mural!

“Nbpac is presenting series of films about the new-painted mural on India Street that came alive when six local filmmakers Lam Thuy Vo, Joshua Carrero, Sarah Pirozek, Vanara Taing, Nathan Punwar, Hiram Becker, and Chris King created films to capture the artists—Ali Aschman, Eve Biddle & Josh Frankel, Chris Soria, Joshua Abram Howard, Robert Seng, and Skewville—as they spent the month of June turning a common white wall into a master work of public art.”
